Introduction Cadence Design Systems is looking for a Deal Desk Finance business partner to the North America sales organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to the sales teams and provide finance input on deal structures & terms that maximize value to Cadence, and benefit external customers and internal cross-functional teams. The person in this role will join a cohesive team that operates in a dynamic, high growth environment for this publicly traded software and solutions company that has over $5B in annual revenue. The person in this role will work closely with the quote-to-cash group, including the Sales, Revenue Accounting, Order Management, Credit, Sales Ops, and Legal teams.
North America Sales Finance Senior Manager, San Jose, CA Finance partner to Sales. This person works with the sales team to structure and execute customer deals that achieve the Company’s financial objectives. This person identifies potential revenue recognition, booking, and fulfillment issues associated with nonstandard features in customer deals. This person maintains deep engagement with stakeholders across many teams to resolve such issues. This person works with Business Unit owners on discounts and pricing. This person serves as an expert on quoting systems. This person drafts contract terms for nonstandard deal features. Focus areas include deal quality, compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures, and contract terms and conditions.
Finance Project Manager. This person works on financial analysis, and provides finance advice on business model changes and acquisition integration. This person assists with post-acquisition integration involving the quote-to-cash group and acts as an advisor on behalf of the Deal Desk team to ensure a smooth transition and that deals align with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
The annual salary range for California is $144,200 to $267,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
