Job summary

SunPower Corporation is seeking a FP&A professional to manage FP&A processes for the residential solar installation team in the US. The role involves developing P&L forecasts and partnering with senior operations leadership to provide financial insights into installation center performance across the US.

The candidate will work closely with the residential installation finance team to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, analyze actual data, and advise on long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience; Master’s degree with 4+ years preferred.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience as appropriate.
• Experience in renewable energy industry strongly preferred (optional).

Summary of Role:

This role will manage FP&A processes for the residential solar installation team. This position will be responsible for supplying members of management with financial information and analysis. This candidate will work closely with senior operations leadership to provide relevant financial insights into installation center performance across the US. This role will also be responsible for developing P&L forecasts, working closely with operational leadership for relevant inputs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational leaders to effectively forecast revenue and performance.
• Identify opportunities to realize savings by uncovering process gaps and areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, working with senior leader stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the residential installation finance team to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual plans.
• Analyzing actual financial data to track and measure forecasting inputs.
• Gathers actual financial data to provide the correct insights needed on operational levels.
• Advises senior management on overall policy and long-term goal development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience
• Master's with 4+ years of related experience
• Advanced degree preferred OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Renewable Energy Industry strongly preferred.
• Knowledge in Anaplan, SalesForce, Qliksense or Oracle
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in an ambiguous fast-paced environment
