Job summary

Harmer is engaged by a publicly traded manufacturing client to identify a Senior Finance Manager tasked with leading a $1B+ business. The role partners with executive and site leadership to drive financial performance, strategy, and operational decision-making while directing a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and capital investments across multiple sites, with exposure to corporate finance and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in a publicly traded or similarly complex organization preferred.

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to executives and operations leaders.
  • Deliver financial analysis, KPI reporting, and insights to drive performance.
  • Partner with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and commercial leaders to improve profitability.
  • Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and capital investment analysis.
  • Develop executive reporting packages for senior leadership.
  • Drive improvements in forecasting, reporting, processes and analytics.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a finance team with a culture of accountability.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Experience supporting large, complex, multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive business partnering
  • Experience working within a publicly traded or similarly complex organization preferred
