Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of related experience, or a master's/MBA with 7 years of related experience.
• Direct experience developing and managing CMC or technical operations financial forecasts required.
• At least 5 years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance business-partnering role.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience with financial planning systems such as Oracle EPBCS, Hyperion, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for CMC and technical operations, including manufacturing, validation, drug substance, drug product, testing, and biologics.
• Partner with functional leaders and cost center managers to monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide financial guidance.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including reviewing and validating accruals with the accounting team.
• Develop financial reports and analyses to support business decisions and resource allocation.
• Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and clinical accrual model updates.
• Promote financial accountability, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen financial planning processes across business teams.
• Ensure financial projections align with operational needs and clinical development timelines.

This role partners with functional leaders to monitor financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure alignment with corporate financial targets and clinical development timelines.
