  • Lead development of annual R&D budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year financial models for clinical and CMC assets.
  • Execute hands‑on financial tasks, including modeling, reporting, variance analysis, and quarter‑end close processes for clinical and CMC activities.
  • Partner with clinical, CMC, research, and administrative teams to analyze program‑level spending, identify budget drivers, and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare accurate, insightful financial reports for senior leadership and the Board, focusing on clinical program performance and key business drivers.
  • Create dynamic financial models to evaluate strategic decisions, such as funding new clinical programs or expanding operations.
  • Implement, test, and maintain company financial controls and data management systems for R&D and CMC functions.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting for the clinical pipeline, providing guidance for fundraising or partnering activities.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Clinical Operations, and Manufacturing to build, track, and refine budgets based on program milestones and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational and financial challenges in a resource‑constrained, start‑up environment.
  • Operate with significant autonomy, taking ownership of issues and solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated track record of working effectively in cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
