Arts FMS is recruiting a Finance Consultant to join a growing team. This fully remote role focuses on nonprofit financial management, client relations, and accurate reporting, working with multiple arts organizations nationwide.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in nonprofit accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The position is full-time, US-based, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience.
• Experience in a finance department managing multiple operations.
• Proficiency with GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and financial reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client interactions.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll, bill pay, bookkeeping, and month-end close.
• Manage 2–5 client relationships and guide financial decisions.
• Prepare and present financial reporting for client leadership.
• Utilize Excel and QuickBooks Online for daily tasks.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on client engagements.
