Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead a 25-person program finance team overseeing a $600M DoD-oriented Business Unit.

This role partners with the Director of Business Finance to deliver robust financial analysis, forecasting, compliance, and strategic insights that drive performance. Located with hybrid options in Orlando, FL or telework—Eastern Time preferred—the role requires deep knowledge of government contracting, GAAP, and a proactive leadership style to enhance decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of finance/program control in government contracting
• OR a Master's degree with minimum 8 years of finance/program control experience in government contracting
• Strong management experience leading a team of finance professionals
• Knowledge of DoD contracting regulations, DCAA compliance, and GAAP

Responsibilities

• Provide contract-level financial support and analysis (project accounting, planning, EACs)
• Lead monthly close, DSO reviews, and accrual approvals
• Develop monthly financial variance reports and present to executives
• Support revenue recognition, forecasting, and funding planning for program managers
• Coordinate with Contracts, Procurement, PMO to resolve financial issues and risks
