Job summary

Vincere, a family-owned business in Rhode Island, seeks a VP Finance/Sr Controller who will serve as the senior financial leader and chief accounting officer. This hands-on role bridges strategic financial leadership with rigorous daily accounting execution, overseeing capital strategy, banking relationships, and forecasting while supervising accounting functions.

You will direct monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, partner with ownership on liquidity and capital

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive financial and accounting leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Strong diplomatic and communication skills for family business dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Shape corporate strategy and advise on capital allocation.
• Lead multi-year financial planning, banking relations, and liquidity.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual close and financial reporting.
• Direct A/P, A/R, inventory accounting and internal controls.
• Guide budgeting process and variance analysis.
• Modernize accounting systems and ERP processes.
