Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience required.
• Seven years of related experience, or a degree with three years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
• Ability to independently gather information and perform financial analysis.
• Proven ability to present information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and databases for complex financial analysis.
• Experience with UC policies, systems, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex financial and administrative analysis for the Department's portfolio.
• Oversee faculty compensation, payroll reconciliation, and incentive payments.
• Coordinate department budget allocations and monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare and train staff on fiscal processes and systems.
• Collaborate with department leadership to ensure accurate financial results.
