Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Director to lead the finance team for the Autonomous Air Power business within AD&S. The role owns the P&L, builds scalable financial models, and partners with leaders to drive profitability and capital allocation.
The ideal candidate will operate at strategic and operational levels, embedding with division heads to drive financial rigor and long-term objectives. This is a high-visibility, builder-type role with significant impact.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
We’re looking for a Senior Director to join the finance team supporting Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S), one of Anduril’s largest and fastest-growing divisions. This is a high-visibility financial leadership role responsible for owning the P&L for Anduril’s Autonomous Air Power business line within AD&S. This role is responsible for leading and developing a high-powered team that partners with business to drive product and program profitability.
The successful candidate will operate at both the strategic level — architecting sustainable financial models and shaping the division’s capital allocation — and the operational level — embedding with division and business line leaders to drive day-to-day financial rigor. This role will interface cross-functionally with senior leadership across finance, operations, production, engineering, growth, program management, and supply chain to shape and execute on the business line’s long-term business objectives.
This is a builder’s role — Fury is just the beginning.
AD&S is fundamentally reshaping the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation collaborative combat aircraft (like our unmanned fighter jet Fury), advanced effects (like our air-breathing cruise missile Barracuda), and the autonomy software that powers these weapons.
The team is responsible for taking products from initial concept to full-rate production at-scale. The team also develops Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Anduril’s premier software platform that enables masses of Fury, Barracuda, and other robots to collaborate across various missions and environments.
Our autonomous systems are the cornerstone of these capabilities, and we continually strive to push the boundaries of the possible in terms of range, autonomy, and mission capability.
Per Anduril's expansion plans, we anticipate this job will be based out of Long Beach, CA beginning late 2027.
