Seismic is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Corporate Data & Analytics team and own the finance data domain. You will model, maintain, and scale data assets powering financial reporting, planning, and decision-making across the business, serving as the bridge between Finance stakeholders and the data platform.

You’ll collaborate with data analysts, analytics engineers, and data engineers to build a cohesive data layer, implement multi-layer dbt models, and ensure reliable,

Formación

• 5+ years of analytics engineering or data analyst experience.
• At least 3 years hands-on with dbt (Core or Cloud).
• Direct experience modeling financial data for Finance stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with business teams on end-to-end analytics projects.
• Hands-on with NetSuite and modeling financial data to reporting layers.
• Knowledge of Salesforce quote-to-cash data structures.
• Proficiency with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Expert SQL skills and familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of layered dimensional modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data models for financial reporting and planning.
• Build and maintain dbt models for bookings, ARR, and revenue data across reporting layers.
• Develop full modeling stack following layered dimensional modeling practices.
• Translate business logic into reusable data models with analysts and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers and data engineers on ingestion and pipeline reliability.
• Apply software engineering practices: version control (GitHub), testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Maintain clear dbt documentation and data lineage for self-service access.
