Qualifications

• 5+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or similar field.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, Python, Snowflake.
• Experience with modern BI tools like Looker/Omni or similar.
• Skilled at defining core financial and operating metrics and resolving data inconsistencies.
• Strong familiarity with version control (GitHub), CI/CD, and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data models and pipelines to power financial analytics and decision-making.
• Define and implement a semantic layer that standardizes metrics like revenue, retention, ARR, and forecast inputs.
• Partner with Product, Finance, and Exec teams to deliver dashboards and analytical tools showing business health metrics (ARR, NRR).
• Establish data modeling standards for accuracy, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead data governance, ensuring data quality and proper access control across the analytics ecosystem.
• Structure financial metric definitions and business logic for AI-assisted reporting and anomaly detection.
