Job summary

Gov Services Hub is seeking a senior Data Modeler with 10+ years of experience to architect finance data models in a remote environment. The candidate will lead workshops and work with SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards data sources to build Snowflake-based Silver/Gold models.

Ideal candidates will challenge the current state, drive best-practice governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable, future-state data architecture for enterprise finance data.

Qualifications

• Finance data modeling expertise.
• Snowflake data modeling experience.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Silver/Gold layers).
• Logical data modeling concepts (entity-relationship, normalization).
• Physical data modeling and table design.
• Dimensional modeling techniques (fact/dimension tables).
• Understanding of normalization techniques.
• Familiarity with ERP source systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
• Knowledge of data warehouse architecture and end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience leading workshops and engaging stakeholders to shape models.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior-level data modeling initiatives across finance data domains.
• Design and evolve Snowflake-based Silver and Gold layered data models.
• Challenge current-state models and define future-state best practices.
• Facilitate workshops with business teams and IT to align requirements and governance.
