Synovus is seeking a senior data professional to design, develop, maintain and improve data structures, queries, ETL processes and data warehousing strategies for enterprise projects in Atlanta. You will collaborate with developers, DBAs, clients and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and ensure alignment with IT strategies.

You will mentor junior staff, participate in SDLC, and provide production support, while staying current with data industry trends

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
10 years of experience in data design and project management.
Experience with multiple programming languages and metadata management.
Knowledge of SDLC and enterprise data architectures.

Mansioni

Participate in enterprise-wide projects requiring technical expertise in systems and data analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement.
Develop scope and serve as project point of contact; plan with clients, analysts and team members.
Conduct unit tests and maintain web/applications or tools.
Manage production support issues across areas of expertise.
Modify existing software per technical specifications and standards.
Follow SDLC guidelines and promote reusable components.
Translate requirements into cross-functional systems and provide integration solutions.
Provide application support during regular and after hours.
Stay informed on industry innovations and new tools and languages.
Raise and report violations; observe policies.
Perform other related duties.
