Job summary

TeamWorld, Inc. is seeking a Controller to lead the financial health of the organization from its Binghamton, NY, on-site location.

The role partners with top management to drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls while guiding the Purchasing and Finance departments. You will oversee month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 7-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into strategic insight.

Responsibilities

• Partner with President and Senior Management to develop financial strategies.
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting for decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, cash flow, and month-end close.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage internal controls and risk management initiatives.
• Supervise Accounting and Purchasing staff and develop the team.
• Provide financial analysis for operations, sales, and growth strategies.
• Lead cost optimization and procurement oversight.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and insurers.
• Prepare financial statements, tax filings, and audit materials.
