Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000/year + bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Atlantic Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Associate (Private Equity) with our client in Boston, MA (Hybrid). This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and a background in private equity or financial services. You’ll support daily cash management, audit and tax preparation, and help streamline financial reporting processes while ensuring compliance and operational accuracy.
Responsibilities as the Senior Finance Associate (Private Equity):- Cash & Treasury Management: Perform daily reconciliations, manage cash flows, and process payments across multiple entities.
- Accounting & General Ledger: Maintain accurate books under U.S. GAAP, including journal entries, accruals, AP/AR, and fixed assets.
- Vendor & AP Oversight: Supervise outsourced AP functions and ensure timely, accurate reporting and reconciliation.
- Expense & Travel Reporting: Manage high-volume T&E programs, analyze trends, and recommend cost-saving improvements.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Prepare financial reports for leadership and assist with SEC filings and annual audits.
- Tax Coordination: Support tax return prep, 1099 filings, and sales/use tax compliance across entities.
Qualifications for the Senior Finance Associate (Private Equity):- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: 5+years of accounting experience, with Big 4 public accounting background highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with NetSuite and Concur experience preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, integrity, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the alternative asset management or private equity sector is preferred.
