Job summary

Bridgewater Associates in Westport, CT seeks a Senior Finance Associate for the Corporate Accounting team to manage accounting and reporting for foreign operations and support domestic entities. You will work with external auditors, advise on US GAAP, and help implement process changes and AI tools to improve accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or higher with strong academic record.
• 5–7 years accounting or audit experience; Big 4 background a plus.
• CPA or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience with AI tooling and advanced Excel.
• Experience with financial systems including Workday or similar.

Responsibilities

• Project manage annual audits of foreign subsidiaries' statutory financial statements under IFRS.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and coordinate input across the organization.
• Ensure transactions are accounted for and reported correctly in the general ledger.
• Field accounting questions with Business Planning & Analysis for foreign subsidiaries.
• Incorporate AI tooling to improve efficiency of reporting and accounting processes.
