Job summary

Northwest Area Foundation is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, payroll administration, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role also contributes to audit and tax preparation support and investment-related accounting activities.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting and/or tax foundation and can work across multiple systems to maintain the accuracy and integrity of NWAF’s financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with payroll, accounts payable, and reconciliations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Support payroll administration and related processes.
• Prepare and assist with reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Provide audit and tax preparation support as needed.
• Assist with investment accounting activities and accuracy across systems.
