Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the Supply Chain organization with clarity on results, cross-functional partnership, and ad hoc analyses to drive profitability.

You will identify cost savings opportunities, manage end-to-end projects, lead month-end reporting on waste, and mentor on financial statements and forecasting. Experience with SAP or ERP and Business Objects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with strong analytical and financial acumen.
• 4+ years in finance/controlling with cost savings or supply chain experience.
• Experience communicating with peers and senior management.
• Knowledge of costing standards and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet).

Job description

• Support the Supply Chain Organization by providing clarity of results, partnering cross-functionally on projects, and creating insights through ad hoc analyses
• Work with the Supply Chain team to identify insights that improve profitability by eliminating waste
• Provide up-to-date reporting and analysis
• Update cost savings projects and provide financial clarity across multiple cross-functional initiatives
• Identify cost savings opportunities, present ideas and findings, and drive value
• Implement cost savings projects with stakeholders across multiple functions while validating savings
• Communicate savings status to leadership teams
• Lead month-end reporting on Waste expenses and provide recommendations to the forecast
• Leverage operational metrics to translate operational performance into financial results
• Act as the lead Finance partner on Supply Chain initiatives and recommend improvements
• Aggregate cost savings targets across Supply Chain groups
• Track savings versus plan accurately and timely
• Maintain a stable and reliable forecast
• Provide clarity on cost drivers and financial acumen within Supply Chain Operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Minimum of 4 years with background in F&C or co-piloting; supply chain background a plus
• Self-starter; independent thinker
• Demonstrated ability to see beyond the task at hand
• Ability to develop a strategy and manage end-to-end projects with limited supervision
• Proven track record working in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of costing standards and accounting
• Proven understanding of financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheet
• Proven track record communicating with peers and senior management
• Analysis, forecasting, and budgeting experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities
• Interpersonal skills with ability to influence and drive teamwork
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• SAP or other ERP experience
• Business Objects experience
