Corning Incorporated in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Analyst in Commercial Finance to act as a proactive partner to domestic and EMEA leadership, supporting OPEX planning, SIP analytics, and related finance initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with 4+ years FP&A experience, advanced Excel, and strong cross‑functional communication to influence strategy and profit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis experience.
• Strong experience with OPEX management, forecasting, and analytical modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools or BI platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial leadership to support OPEX planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support SIP analysis, tracking, and reporting to align with targets and strategy.
• Develop and enhance financial models and analytics for planning and performance.
• Deliver insights across regions, markets, and products; translate data into business implications.
• Present financial analyses and dashboards to leadership and stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between commercial and BI teams; integrate financial and market analytics.
• Support AOP, forecast cycles, and ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting, and tools.
• Maintain internal controls in line with GAAP and SOX requirements.
