The field of gene therapy is growing rapidly and Genezen is here to meet the exacting needs of our clients. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance, this is a highly visible role in the organization. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, responsible for leading financial planning and analysis and act as a guardian of financial insights for the Company Leadership Team. You will develop robust skills as part of this fast-paced function by interacting with a broad number of internal business partners and building organizational capabilities to drive profitability & customer satisfaction. The work of this team is dynamic with high-visibility and impact to our diverse customers, providing you an exciting opportunity to gain valuable professional growth. Essential job functions include providing strong finance business partnership to the Site Finance Leadership Team at two sites - Fishers (Indiana) and Lexington (MA); improving analytics around weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue forecast files to drive towards annual and long-term financial targets; monitoring and reporting on key financial and operational metrics, highlighting trends and analyzing variances to budget and forecast (OpEx, SG&A & CapEx); developing standard presentation material for site finance leadership review meetings; collaborating cross functionally with teams including Heads of Program Management, Site Engineering, Quality and Process Development; assisting in ad-hoc financial modelling requests by the VP – GM; overseeing all aspects of consolidation for forecasting and budgeting including developing standard templates for monthly, quarterly forecast and annual budget; developing and maintaining standard tools and dashboards of KPIs for Company Leadership Team – Revenue, EBITDA, Cash flow, Working Capital Metrics, Productivity etc.; supporting the Accounting organization on monthly & quarterly close including calculation of monthly accruals and performing a complete P&L audit; leading special finance automation projects and initiatives; driving continuous improvement in processes to help the company scale. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Operations, HR and to align on forecasts, budgets, and performance targets is required. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights that support strategic business decisions is essential. Deep understanding of business drivers, industry trends, and how financial metrics impact company performance is needed. Special job requirements include adaptability as work schedule may change based on business needs, criminal background check required, and other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills and experience required include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting with minimum 3-4 years of related experience or Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting plus MBA with 2 years of related experience; strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; strong computer software skills (Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI) and knowledge of finance ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Hyperion Planning, SAP); some prior experience in the life sciences and CDMO industry is desired.
