Job summary

Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Filling Set-up Sr. Technician, Operations - Onsite for 1st shift to support sterile filling, lyophilization, and capping in the FLEx Center. This role emphasizes hands-on processing, GMP documentation, and teamwork with QA, EHS, and engineering.

The candidate will set up filling lines, perform machinability runs, and help ensure compliant, high-quality production in a cGMP environment. Overtime and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a technician in manufacturing or similar setting with set-up/changeover of complex equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP, calibration/maintenance databases.
• Willingness to lift 50 lbs and work in cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, changeover, and test runs for filling lines and related equipment.
• Perform aseptic filling operations following GMP and SOPs.
• Collaborate with formulators, engineers, QA, and facilities to ensure on-time delivery.
