Job summary

Bayforce is seeking a Senior IBM FileNet Developer to design, migrate, and support enterprise applications focusing on IBM FileNet 5.6.x with migrations using MARS. The role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot development within an Azure cloud environment and collaboration with multiple technology teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive FileNet experience, strong Java expertise (OpenJDK 21.x+), and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitLab Duo.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of application development and/or systems analysis experience.
• Strong development experience with IBM FileNet 5.6.x.
• Experience with FileNet system migrations and MARS.
• Strong Java development experience with OpenJDK 21.x+.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Development.
• Experience with GitLab Duo agents or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application integrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support IBM FileNet 5.6.x applications and solutions.
• Support FileNet system migrations using MARS (Migration and Replication System).
• Develop and maintain applications using OpenJDK 21.x+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop and support cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Troubleshoot, debug, test, and resolve complex application issues.
• Analyze system integrations and dependencies across applications and platforms.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and system documentation.
• Participate throughout the development lifecycle, from technical analysis through testing and implementation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced developers.
• Collaborate with business, development, operations, and other technology teams.
• Follow development, security, risk, and regulatory standards.
