AGCO Corporation in Jackson, MN is seeking a Sr Field Validation Engineer to conduct field tests on prototype equipment and coordinate field testing activities within the validation team.

This remote role will cover NE Arkansas, W Tennessee, W Kentucky, and SE Missouri, with up to 75% travel during the growing season and collaboration with farmers, dealers, and engineers to validate performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with strong mechanical aptitude.
• 5+ years of field testing or technical experience in agricultural/off-highway machinery.
• Travel: up to 75% travel in the region during the growing season and some travel to Jackson, MN for training.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to engineering teams and leadership.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and data acquisition tools; able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design to plan and conduct extensive field testing; select test locations and cooperators.
• Collect, organize, and analyze performance data using instrumentation such as data loggers; report results and improvements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CAN-BUS systems during field operations.
• Collaborate with farmers, dealers, field teams, and engineering to validate performance and safety.
• Represent Validation Engineering in design reviews and maintain equipment condition during testing.
