Job summary

ERRG in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a field UXO Technician to perform precise location work and field searches for unexploded ordnance (UXO) and munitions debris (DMM). You will use GPS, maps, and geophysical instruments to identify hazards and support project goals.

This role requires strong safety discipline, effective team communication, and 5+ years MEC experience, with up to full travel to project sites. Training and certs like HAZWOPER are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must complete a UXO Technician I or equivalent.
• Hold 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with refresher.
• Willing to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Minimum 5 years MEC experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Determine precise field locations using GPS and maps.
• Conduct UXO/DMM field search activities.
• Operate geophysical detection instruments.
• Maintain safety and quality control compliance.
• Work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Prepare site security and transport explosive materials.
