Job summary

Databricks in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Field Technical Program Manager to lead post-sales, cross-functional technical programs delivering customer outcomes and driving business growth. You will manage five concurrent projects, coordinate with Sales, Product and Engineering, and apply data platform expertise to ensure successful migrations, ETLs and data governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management in a B2B SaaS, cloud, or data/analytics company.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technical programs and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with Agile knowledge.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, able to present concepts to diverse audiences including executives.
• Foundational knowledge of data and AI landscape (data warehousing, data lakes, ETL, streaming, data science).

Responsibilities

• Own delivering customer outcomes for approximately five concurrent projects, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Develop detailed technical project plans with milestones, objectives and key results.
• Drive measurable weekly progress and mitigate risks to project objectives.
• Facilitate effective meetings across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adapt to changing project requirements and lead cross-functional collaboration across Professional Services, Engineering, and Sales.
• Leverage data platform knowledge to drive customer outcomes faster.
• Define and implement new processes to improve efficiency of the Professional Services team.
