Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior technician to lead fresh-concrete testing and IBC special inspections on structural projects. You will mentor junior technicians, interface with engineers and building officials, and own the quality of the inspection record across assignments.

This role requires 3+ years of CMT or inspection experience, relevant certifications, and willingness to travel for defined project programs, with multi-state deployments and defined travel terms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET II+, or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Perform and document inspections per project IBC special inspection programs.
• Mentor and check junior field technicians; coordinate daily with superintendents, engineers, and officials.
• Support multi-state industrial deployments on a project basis.
