Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions is seeking a Technician III to diagnose and repair heavy-duty forklift equipment and related systems. You will work in the field and shop environments, traveling to customer sites to ensure uptime and safety, representing Briggs with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of repair experience, proficiency with precision measuring tools, and a valid driver’s license. On-call availability and travel to client sites are required, with a strong commitment to

Qualifications

7+ years of experience repairing medium to heavy-duty vehicle/industrial forklift repairs, including PMs, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and powertrain components.
Ability to read precision instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair equipment including diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, lifting systems.
Focus on Yale, Hyster, Taylor, and Ottawa brands.
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and failure analysis to meet safety standards.
Follow Briggs, OSHA, DOT, and customer safety requirements and promote a Safety-First culture.
Document work, manage parts and tools, and maintain a clean service vehicle.
