Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Senior Field Technician in San Antonio, TX to perform construction materials testing and related inspections under supervision. The role involves interpreting plans, observing site activities, and delivering data and findings to clients and project teams.

The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and CMT experience with relevant certifications. Intertek offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the PSI team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work off-shift, overtime, and weekends.
• Previous Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Special Inspections experience.
• Experience performing field inspections on commercial, transportation, municipal, or industrial projects.
• Experience preparing detailed field reports and communicating findings to clients and project teams.
• Must possess at least one of the following certifications: ICC Commercial Building Inspector, ICC Building Inspector, ICC Reinforced Concrete SI, ACI Concrete Construction SI, ICC Soils SI or NICET Level II, ICC Fire/Spray-Applied Fireproofing SI.

• Observe site activities, perform tasks and interpret results.
• Attend project meetings alone, communicate effectively with client and project teams.
