Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Maintain basic certifications and two advanced certifications as per policy.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS.
• Excellent communication skills, dependable and detail-oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and related materials.
• Executes testing activities on projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision.
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors.
• Prepares accurate and detailed daily field reports documenting site conditions and results.
• Performs calculations, data reduction, and documentation tasks.
• Maintains and organizes field equipment and testing materials.
• Assists in resolving field-related issues and supports project execution.
• Trains and mentors Technician I and Technician II staff in field procedures and documentation.
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested.
