ECS Limited in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician I to join our field services team. The role involves field observation, testing, sampling, and reporting on soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials.

You will work with project managers and technicians, perform field testing with minimal supervision, and help mentor Technician I and II staff.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain basic certifications and two advanced certifications applicable to the work performed.
• General industry OSHA 10 may be required.
• If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Advanced knowledge of construction materials testing principles and standards.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and jobsite operations.
• Advanced proficiency with electronic devices and data systems.
• Strong math and data reduction skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and lead small efforts in the field.
• Ability to lift equipment and materials regularly (up to ~85 lbs).
• Must have the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and follow all local and state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies.

• Executes testing activities on projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision

• Prepares accurate and detailed daily field reports documenting site conditions and results
• Performs calculations, data reduction, and documentation tasks
• Maintains and organizes field equipment and testing materials
• Assists in resolving field-related issues and supports project execution
• Trains and mentors Technician I and Technician II staff in field procedures and documentation
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned

Responsibilities

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented and certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician I to join our Fayetteville team. In this role, you'll continue to collaborate and develop with experienced project management professionals to safely perform a variety of tasks in Field Services department.
