Job summary

Marksman Security LLC in Austin, TX seeks an Advanced Field Technician / Project Manager to lead installation and oversight of complex security systems. Based in Austin, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure client satisfaction.

The role blends hands-on technical work with project leadership, communications, and safety compliance across multiple sites in Texas. A strong background in access control, CCTV, and alarm systems is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with electronic security systems installation and service.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or serving as lead technician across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring, network topology, and power systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel regularly across the state of Texas (approx. 60-70%).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute electronic security installation projects from kickoff to completion.
• Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and client site contacts to meet milestones.
• Conduct site assessments, prepare material takeoffs, and verify system designs meet standards.
• Maintain project documentation and client updates.
• Serve as on-site point of contact during installation and commissioning.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians on advanced troubleshooting and best practices.
