Job summary

Mueller Water Products, based in Newark, Delaware, seeks a Senior Field Technician to lead field data collection and non-invasive leak detection projects for our Smart Water Infrastructure program.

You will supervise a small onsite team, coordinate with project management and clients, plan deployments, and analyze data for reports. Travel within the USA up to 25% is required; most work is outdoors on water mains with leak detection and condition assessment tasks.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of field data collection or outdoor work experience.
• Experience managing small teams or subcontractors onsite.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel; field work outdoors 95% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead field data collection and leak detection/condition assessment tests.
• Review data for reporting and QA/QC tasks.
• Prepare project reports and plan logistics.
• Train and manage subcontracted labor on site.
• Coordinate with project management, subcontractors and clients.
