Ferguson Construction is seeking a Professional Surveyor to support design and construction teams with precise property, boundary, topographic, utility, and record surveys. You will perform construction staking, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with professional standards.

The role emphasizes outdoor work with no overnight travel and requires familiarity with robotic technology and GPS. The candidate should have 4+ years of field survey experience, hold or be eligible for the Ohio

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum field survey experience.
• Possess current active PS licensure in Ohio or reciprocity to Ohio.
• 1+ year managing a crew.
• Must be able to read and interpret civil drawings.
• Must be able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform property, boundary, topographic, utility, and record surveys.
• Conduct construction layout and staking.
• Assist with survey research and data collection.
• Transmit data into Civil 3D for design/build teams.
• Monitor quality and compliance with professional standards.
• Train and mentor other survey team members.
