Job summary

Ferguson Construction Co. is seeking a Professional Surveyor to support design and construction teams through precise field surveys and robust layout for diverse projects.

The role emphasizes boundary and topographic work, utility surveys, and data integration into Civil 3D, with a focus on accuracy and risk management. The candidate should have 4+ years in field surveying, a current PS license in Ohio (or reciprocity), and at least 1 year of crew supervision.

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum field survey experience.
• 1+ year managing a crew.
• Must be able to work outdoors.
• Possess current active PS license in Ohio or reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Perform property, boundary, topographic, utility, and record surveys.
• Conduct construction layout and staking.
• Assist with boundary research and resolution for rights-of-ways and easements.
• Transmit data collection into Civil 3D and draft existing conditions for design teams.
• Train and mentor other survey team members.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration and readiness.
