Job summary

MPI is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Chicago to manage day-to-day field activities, coordinate with investors, and ensure safety and schedule milestones on mid-rise projects. You will review blueprints, lead planning, supervise subcontractors, and maintain professional client-facing communication.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree and have 4+ years as a superintendent, with OSHA certification preferred and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 4+ years as a construction superintendent for a general contractor.
• OSHA certification (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction field activities to meet milestones and schedules.
• Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions to execute bids.
• Lead team with construction project planning and site logistics development.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines.
