Ilocatum is seeking a Field Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent for a multi-year border wall project near Laredo, TX. The role emphasizes strong field supervision, coordination of crews, and ensuring safety and quality on a major infrastructure program.

The project requires reading plans and specs, managing earthwork, roadwork, drainage, utilities, and coordinating production across a geographically distributed site. Travel and relocation around Laredo are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible construction field supervision experience.
• Prefer 3–5 years of heavy-civil or linear infrastructure experience.
• Experience supervising multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong background in earthwork, roadway construction, drainage, concrete, structures, utilities, and heavy-equipment operations preferred.
• Must be capable of reading plans and specifications and coordinating daily production, sequencing, safety, and quality requirements.
• Federal and design-build experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and live around the Laredo, TX area and supervise field operations.
• Coordinate daily production, sequencing, safety, and quality requirements.
• Manage multiple crews and subcontractors on a large, linear project.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Work on heavy-civil tasks including earthwork, roadways, drainage, and utilities.
