Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct supervision of projects, including trades.
• A 4-year technical/engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong communication with all team members including contractors, architects, and owners.
• Ability to negotiate and professionally handle conflicts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, regulations, and safety.
• Market experience can include higher education, aerospace, sports facilities, and/or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of work scopes and front-end documents for bidding to create clear and concise scopes of work; assists with bid processes and bidder questions; identifies potential contractors.
• Enforces corporate safety policies on jobsite, including pre-task safety planning and safety compliance in the field.
• Organizes/manages day-to-day on-site field labor force.
• Supervises, coordinates, and sequences contractor’s work to minimize interference between contractors.
• Assists PM with management of overall budget and forecasting of usage; helps control costs and monitor changes.
• Develop site logistics plans for the entire project to maximize productivity and minimize impacts to building occupants.
