Job summary

Bowser-Morner Inc in Toledo, OH is seeking a Sr Field Services Structural Steel Technician to perform bolted and welded connection reviews on building sites, fabrication shops, and related testing tasks. The role includes field witnessing, sampling, and lab testing with supervision from Field Supervisor and Assistant Manager.

The ideal candidate will conduct routine and non-routine testing, interpret specs, and prepare accurate field service reports while maintaining quality control and safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AWS CWI certification required.
• ACI, NETTCP, NICET or ODOT certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Track and organize assigned work.
• Perform routine sampling, testing, and observation.
• Be familiar with quality standards and field services practices.
• Apply formulas for interpreting test results.
• Prepare field service reports with basic computer skills.
• Ensure calibration and quality control of equipment.
• Interpret project specs, drawings, and work instructions.
• Handle customer relations.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Support Field Supervisor and Assistant Manager as needed.
