Job summary

Philips is seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant for Patient Monitoring in the Richmond, VA area. The role focuses on delivering software evolution services for life-critical healthcare IT environments, including deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization.

You will advise clinical and executive stakeholders, lead complex technical solutions, and collaborate across Sales, Service, and implementation teams. This field role requires travel and a strong healthcare IT background.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT services or related technical environments.
• Hospital/clinical IT experience required; patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, defibrillators preferred.
• CCNA certification required; higher Cisco certs acceptable (CCNP, CCNP Enterprise).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, biomedical, engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% across the specified geography.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales consultation across patient monitoring and healthcare IT environments.
• Lead deployment, configuration, integration, optimization, maintenance, and remediation of complex patient monitoring and software solutions.
• Own delivery of service contract obligations including health checks, patch management, and system updates.
• Escalate and resolve highly complex system/network/software issues; communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, implementation, and project teams to drive solutions and knowledge sharing.
