Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) provides field service engineering, installation, training and customer support for defense and commercial clients. This role directs design, development and implementation of field services activities and guides operations, maintenance and inspection procedures with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include policy development, budget and schedule adherence, and customer liaison for field installations, repairs and spares.

Qualifications

• Thorough and detailed technical understanding of engineering and field service principles.
• Strong leadership skills including organizing, planning, budgeting, scheduling and coordinating workloads.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to document, report and present findings.
• Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment; travel as required.
• Experience with DHS background investigation requirements for access to sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities, work schedules and priorities of assigned management, professional and support staff to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Represents the organization with customers to plan field installations, repairs and spares inventories.
• Develops and implements systems to track repairs and spares inventories.
• Analyzes data to monitor usage and anticipate future needs; provides customer sales support.
• Develops and executes innovative solutions to highly complex technical problems and issues.
• Directs the planning, selection, retention, and development of human resources to ensure staff availability.
