Job summary

Under close supervision, this position provides flight line and ground support, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing aircraft and engine systems, and offers mechanical and inspection assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license is desired.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Assist in inspection of powerplant and related components at regular intervals per procedures and government orders.
• Assist in repairing fuel and engine leaks and problems.
• Assist in removal and replacement of airframe and/or engine components.
• Complete required documentation per procedures and government/customer orders.
• May perform launch/recovery tasks including ground operations and preflight checks.
• May participate in engine/airframe checks and payload installation.
• May participate in ATP tests per guidelines.
• May inspect, test, maintain, and operate ground support equipment.
