Job summary

Modern IT in La Verne, CA is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to lead field deployments, ensure clean handoffs, and maintain high client satisfaction.

You will own projects from planning to delivery, coordinate with vendors, manage scope, and document as-built records, while traveling regularly to Southern California client sites. A strong background in IT deployment, networking, and Microsoft environments is required, with certifications such as MD-102 preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT deployment, project engineering, or systems integration with onsite leadership.
• Proven experience with Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong written and verbal client communication under pressure.
• Travel regularly to client sites in Southern California.
• Excellent documentation of time entries, notes, and as-built records.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite client services and manage projects on schedule and budget.
• Adhere to project processes, plan and prep, and deliver equipment setup and configuration.
• Lead and validate solutions with Design Desk, perform runbooks, and update PSA data.
• Coordinate vendor support, manage scope creep, and ensure post-project documentation.
• Serve in field leadership, participate in standups, and support client trust.
