Job summary

SPATCO in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced service technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain gasoline dispensing units and electronic POS systems. The role requires outdoor work, local travel and the ability to lift 50-75 lbs.

You will work with branch managers and other technicians, receive ongoing training and certifications, and contribute to reliable customer service in the Petroleum industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License with a good driving record is required.
• At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units.
• Hold valid dispenser certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett).
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR).
• Install, program and test new petroleum equipment.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs as required.
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems.
• Communicate with customers and explain technical issues in a non-technical manner.
