Job summary

Husky Technologies TM is seeking a senior technical support specialist to provide service for injection molding systems and support to customers worldwide. The role involves setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, with mentorship to fellow technicians and close collaboration with internal teams.

The successful candidate will be experienced in hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical systems, and will travel extensively to customer sites to ensure high quality service

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education is required in Technical or Engineering related studies.
• 10+ years of injection molding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and correct all control systems including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and programmable controls.
• Calibrate machines to achieve optimum performance, and set up and maintain machines.
• Provide system setup and startup support for all Husky equipment.
• Develop an organized approach to solving machine problems using manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.
• Repair and/or replace any component on machine, robot, product handling equipment and mold as required.
• Develop and maintain superior customer relations.
• Coordinate with internal resources to ensure effective customer service.
• Instruct service technicians and/or customer operators on the maintenance and safe operation of injection molding systems.
• Provide regular and effective written reports to the Service Team Leader.
