Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to install and support wireless communications systems for public safety and enterprise customers. The role requires hands-on expertise with radio hardware, site installs, and on-site service delivery.

You should have 5+ years of experience in diagnosing and repairing Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment, with strong RF theory knowledge and customer-facing skills. Some regional travel and on-call hours are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service technician experience diagnosing, repairing, programming and installing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of two-way radio theory and RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Experience with RF design, testing equipment and network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Install and service complex wireless systems for public safety and enterprise customers.
• Create high-level programming code-plugs (e.g. P25, CAP MAX, Linked Capacity) for systems.
• Provide system recommendations and designs that meet customer requirements.
