Job summary

SAM Service, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician (Hot & Cold Side) for an in-person role based in Jacksonville, FL. You will start from home each day in a company vehicle, troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment, and document work on an iPad.

Experience in equipment maintenance is required, HVAC experience and EPA certification preferred. You will be joining a team that values integrity and customer service while supporting a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair is required.
• Refrigeration/HVAC experience and EPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong technical and electrical skills; able to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and other tech tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and random testing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Use a company-provided iPad to manage work orders and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and manufacturer support.
• Start your day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle.
• Focus on service — office handles quotes, parts, and billing.
