As a Senior Field Service Technician | Building Automation Systems for Security and Access Control here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Automation and Controls business unit in Charlotte. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our premiere showcase site at our global headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This location serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration, providing you with a unique opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals.

You will report to the Field Service Supervisor based in Morrisville, NC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers

• Provide advanced technical support and expertise for our Automation and Controls solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions

• Conduct training sessions for customers and field service technicians

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

You will be assigned a service vehicle and provided with a fleet card for fuel, maintenance and repairs for business use.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years' experience with building automation systems, specifically security systems, cameras, card access, or badge readers. • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Automation and Controls technologies

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in project management and execution

• Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
