You’ll work closely with service managers, IT teams, and clients to solve technical challenges, support connected devices, and ensure client satisfaction.

About the Role

This role is critical to Milner’s mission of delivering responsive, expert-driven support that transforms the way organizations manage their business technology. You’ll work closely with service managers, IT teams, and clients to solve technical challenges, support connected devices, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of MFP devices with a focus on uptime, efficiency, and customer impact
• Perform installations, routine maintenance, and upgrades to MFP hardware and software, including network configuration
• Provide on-site and remote technical support with clear communication and a solutions-oriented approach
• Maintain detailed records of service activity using service management software
• Support inventory control by tracking parts usage and reporting supply needs
• Stay current on manufacturer training and certifications (HP, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Lexmark)
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to knowledge sharing across the service team
• Collaborate with the Service Manager on territory management and client feedback loops

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience servicing MFP or office technology equipment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Hands-on experience configuring print/scan network settings and device software
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment

Preferred:

• OEM certifications (Ricoh, HP, Konica Minolta, Lexmark)
• Familiarity with e-Automate, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
• Experience supporting customers in the legal, healthcare, or education industries

Working Conditions:

• Field-based role with frequent travel to customer sites.
• Occasional exposure to moderate noise and hazardous materials.
• Frequent local travel with occasional out-of-town assignments.
• Physical activities include standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and lifting/carrying equipment.
