Job summary

RMS Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician II to oversee the testing and commissioning of low to high-voltage systems throughout Pennsylvania. This hands-on role involves working with critical infrastructure, using specialized tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in power systems testing, troubleshooting, or commissioning (480V–500kV).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and one-line diagrams.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain low, medium, and high voltage systems including breakers and transformers.
• Troubleshoot control circuits, relay logic, and protection schemes.
• Support commissioning activities and customer satisfaction.

Skills

Testing and troubleshooting experience

Knowledge of low to high-voltage systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Understanding of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards

Education

High school diploma or GED

NETA Level II certification preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or Engineering
